Schedule for the
SUMMER READING
PROGRAM
Registration begins
May 22, 2001 and runs through July 11, 2001
Have books read to
you or read books at home. If you read 10 book
by July 24, 2001, you will receive a certificate and a prize.
Certificates
can be given as you finish reading or at the end of the summer
party. If
you are in pre-school - 1st grade and have 100 books read to you or you
read the books, you will receive a trophy. If you are in 2nd
- 8th grade
and read 50 books of at least 25 pages, you will receive a
trophy. Trophies will be given out at the end of
the summer party on August 1
for preschool - 1st grade, and August 2 for 2nd - 8th grade.
All reading
logs are to be turned in by July 24, 2001 to receive a
trophy. Other
prizes will be given at the party.
