Welcome to the Calhoun County Public Library's Internet homepage. The Calhoun County library system serves over 20,000 citizens of Calhoun County, located in South Texas. This is a large geographic area, covering more than 500 square miles.

Our library system consists of a main library located in the city of Port Lavaca and three branches spread throughout the county.

Main Library Hours:
10 am to 8 pm -- Tuesday and Thursday
10 am to 6 pm -- Wednesday and Friday
9 am to 1 pm -- Saturday
Closed -- Sunday and Monday

Branches are located in:

Point Comfort (about 7 miles NE)
Seadrift (about 18 miles SW)
Port O'Connor (about 24 miles SE)
